I would like to thank the Rising Star Baptist Church for this privilege of serving as the pastor of this
outstanding congregation. Rising Star has been a pillar and a beacon light in this
community for many years. This church has done a tremendous job of leading men and women in the direction
of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My prayer is for the Lord to 'show me the way.'
I ask for your prayers as we continue to meet the needs of all people. We as a body of baptized believers
want to be 'ministry minded and purpose driven.' As I often say... "If you always do what you have
always done, you will always get what you have always got." Rising Star, you just don't
know how proud I am to be your pastor.
